Principal Accountabilities:
-Works with the ROs in China to establish a primary target list of specifying international /architects/designers/developers and specification writers
-Executes regular training events with sales managers and target group customers on new commercial products and programs
-Maintains and grows relationships with the specification community through consistent sales contact and involvement in local (with faucet-related) associations
-Plans, prepares and executes sales presentations on Our Faucet Company’s commercial products and programs to acquire new business
-Works with Headquarters and our US Commercial team to track and pursue leads (or other lead generating services as deemed necessary)
-Has an educated understanding of who our competition is and is able to speak knowledgably of Our Faucet Company’s commercial/residential product selling features and benefits over the competition
-Constantly strives to communicate opportunities & leads to our representation groups and Indianapolis Commercial team headquarters
-Helps to develop policies, programs and procedures that will further drive commercial business for our representation groups and Our Faucet Company as a whole
-Plans & executes commercial oriented customer events, whether locally, or involving our HQs and/or the US Commercial team
-Collaborates where appropriate with other Masco divisions (i.e. Liberty, Watkins, Hansgrohe, Masco Canada) to share knowledge, information and support to create competitive advantage for Our Faucet Company’s commercial sales efforts
-Develops and executes a process for the project management and project tracking to ensure a sufficient project funnel
-Leads the Chinese project sales team and in this role belongs to the senior sales management team
-Manage and co-ordinate all project quotations to prevent intra competition
-Develop and organize workshop and event with Developers/Designers and their associates construction/contractor
Education and Experience/Skills:
-- Bachelor degree or above;
-- Min. 5 years of experience in key accounts management of international customers in China preferable in non-residential building product specification sales in China; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
-- Have experience in the construction material / industry;
-- It is essential that this individual has a strong ability to multi-task, identify needs and resolve issues immediately;
-- Have strong communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
-- Be fluent in English and Mandarin (verbally and in writing). Must have a positive, can-do attitude that exhibits passion and optimism;
-- Must have a strong work ethic; demonstrate a customer focus and understanding, and exhibit high level of ethics and honesty. Must exhibit effective collaborative and team-building skills and a strong sense of personal accountability.
-- Willing and able to travel within China and international approx. 60% of the time.
