Major Responsibilities
·Assumes the full responsibility for all production site related procurement activities in GZBMS - in the areas of technical materials and services, raw materials and packaging; contractor management, provides procurement services to support the site operation. 
·Ensure reliable material and service availability at the necessary quantity, quality, place and time at the best possible Total Cost of Ownership for GZBMS
·Analyze, set-up and continuously improve the Purchase-to-Pay process (SAP system) efficiency and effectiveness and ensure compliance of purchasing processes with BMS /Bayer Group regulations (e.g. ICS)
·Prepare periodic reports or other data for information to other organization units on acquisition prices, market developments, budget control, achievements and other related matters
·Complement global market knowledge with local information about markets and suppliers
·Manage communications with suppliers and production units from local perspective and according to day to day operational needs and support global and regional PROTRA Category Management as needed
·Develop local supply strategies and lead/execute sourcing process for all local productsrvices in accordance with functional reporting line
·Manage local contracts / implement locally the global contracts incl. risk assessment
·Monitor supplier performance and execute supplier evaluation;
·Ensures adherence/compliance to BMS procurement guidelines and all procurement relevant procedures; Coordinate ICS/ ISO audits and implementation of corrective actions, monitoring procurement performance with KPIs.
·Handle claim management
·Establish and maintain a qualified, efficient and sustainable site procurement team. Provide coaching to subordinates 
·Lead and develop subordinates with adherence to the Leadership Principles and Compliance Program of Bayer. Direct subordinates in the management of their assigned responsibilities to ensure that their responsibility meets objectives
·Maintain a good rapport with other major BMS site procurement organizations in order to exchange best practices for mutual benefit
·Actively communicate to all GZBMS related customers in order to meet the needs of the production areas
 
 
Job Requirement
·Bachelor degree or above with engineering / chemistry background, chemical engineering is preferred.
·More than 5 years’ experiences in procurement, experience at SAP is a plus. Working experience in MNC Company preferred.
·Strong negotiating, communication , influencing and problem solving skills
·Ability to implement and manage change
·Good English speaking and  writing skills
·Excellent coordination capability,
·Good PC and SAP skill,
·Carefulness, patience, team work spirit, willing to offer help.
